THE SMILE ON MY FACE DOESN’T MEAN MY LIFE IS PERFECT. IT MEANS I APPRECIATE WHAT I HAVE AND WHAT GOD HAS BLESSED ME WITH.
Being a mom doesn’t mean only giving birth. It is putting someone else feeling and needs above yours. Learning and knowing what is right for them even when they don’t know. I remember the fist day we came home from the hospital and Ephraim started cry my husband ask me “why is the baby crying honey”. As a mom you are automatically suppose to know whats wrong with your baby when they start crying according to others. The look people give you when your baby starts crying is priceless. “Like girl you better keep that baby quiet” like its your fault the baby is crying. Especially in church, that is why you find out that most new born mothers don’t like coming to church because we either don’t hear the whole preaching or we hear nothing. We are in the children room the whole service. Sometimes it like why did i even come to church if i am not going to hear the preaching. So people, do not judge because it is not easy. It took me a while to adjust to being a mother, full time worker, wife, friend, sister and daughter. Being a mom means:
sacrifice
unconditional love
endless joy
a bond that nothing can break
devotion
trust
forgiveness
protector
selfless
24 hrs job (no off days)
stress
fatigue
And the list goes on
